Iron Duke and Christmas Gift Group of Mines

The Iron Duke copper-gold mineralised zone, as known from past activity, is up to 15m wide, extends for a strike length of 550 metres and is open at depth greater than 140m below surface. It is located in the Girilambone Group meta-sedimentary rocks of the Lachlan Fold belt in central NSW that also host the Tottenham, Tritton, Budgery and Girilambone copper/gold deposits to the north.

The mineralisation at Iron Duke has the potential to provide high grade copper/gold feed for the Mineral Hill processing plant, which is currently producing copper concentrates for export markets.

KBL Mining Ltd holds EL6064 (100%) that covers the Iron Duke deposit and the Christmas Gift group of workings approximately 3 kilometres to the southwest. No modern exploration activity including drilling has been conducted over the Christmas Gift group of workings which extend over 2km in strike length.

Iron Duke - Mineralised Envelope

An initial drilling program at Iron Duke is aimed at assessing the open cut potential for ore feed for the Mineral Hill plant and to explore the extent of the mineralisation open down dip and along strike. KBL plans to extend the current program to include drilling at the Christmas Gift group of workings (3km South), which host a similar style of mineralisation.

Mineralised envelope is 550m x 140m x 15x with a specific gravity of 2.7.
